A great place for a bite and a drink. Even though seems a bit off the beaten track. Great vibes inside and dog friendly too. We had a lovely brunch here. Great selection of food and drink (wish we were not driving and could have a breakfast Bloody Mary!) Highly recommend hash bowl! Friendly service and reasonable prices!

Excellent brunch lunch dinner restaurant Massive portions mixed with high quality ingredients. Very casual and relaxed atmosphere. Simply one of the best overall places I’ve visited in the UK. Lots of different events on too.

Lovely brunch experience - Turkish eggs, orange juice and flat white were all delicious. Really friendly and helpful service. Nice mixed crowd. Great atmosphere on Sunday morning when we were there. Dog friendly. Outdoor seating. Good to book ahead as was quite busy when we were there. Street parking is free on a Sunday but we had to drive around to find a spot. We paid about 25 each for food and a couple drinks each.

We had the burger and Asian chicken hash bowl. Both were tasty and cooked with very high quality ingredients. Service and atmosphere were spot on too. Brilliant overall.

Was drawn in by the atmosphere. We stopped for a few drinks while passing and really enjoyed sitting outside. Bustling place, oozing with character. We didn't try the food, but the dishes that were served around us looked appetising. Friendly staff too.

What a great place for a delicious breakfast on a sunday morning. Really friendly staff. Cara was superb. Love this place. Try the Bacon and Sausage roll and the hot chocolate. To die for.

Quality food! if you’re looking for a quick brunch or lunch place Ernest will not disappoint. The portions are plentiful and prices are generous. On different occasions i’ve tried the sandwiches and pancakes and both have been phenomenal. The sandwiches are made fresh so it differs what is available so try not to leave it too late if this is what you’re hoping to get. the sandwich options aren’t stated on the menu so you have to ask, i think it could be useful to include a separate menu for the sandwich availability if doable, either way it wasn’t an issue for us! they have a large variety of alcoholic and none alcoholic drinks, with a range of fizzy drinks and still, so plenty option. the service is quick so hence the mention if you’re looking for a quick brunch! Staff are lovely and cannot fault the place, fantastic!
